About Us

Vibra Kultur is an events organization focused on artistic and cultural expressions, particularly from Brazil. Our goal is to create opportunities for artists to showcase their work and make it easy and exciting for the public to discover new names in the art world.

"Vibrar" in Portuguese means to vibrate. The name comes from an artistic collective I (Caro) was part of in Brazil, and it reflects the ever-vibrant art scene. With Vibra Kultur, we aim to bring this concept to our events, engaging the audience and encouraging them to fully enjoy living in the moment.

In 2020, Coletivo Vibra was born in Rio de Janeiro from a joint desire to boost independent arts and artists. The meeting of the three producers took place in artistic circles in which they were already inserted, and the idea of creating some kind of collective or producing company emerged in 2019. In the beginning of 2020, the producers got together again and finally set up Coletivo Vibra - formed by Letícia Paixão, Mar and Caro Petersen.

The idea of the Coletivo has always been to boost independent artistic careers and promote the "new artists" of our generation through different types of projects that would act in 3 fields: the independent artist, independent arts and the city.

THE INDEPENDENT ARTIST

Empowerment of the independent artist's metier, through services provided to artists, such as:

project development, press, career planning/organization, agent-work.

INDEPENDENT ART

The promotion of independent art with the purpose of exchange between artists, through projects such as: soirees, panels, events between artists.

THE CITY

The dissemination of independent arts to the public, by occupations of the city, through

events, shows, exhibitions, workshops.

Two weeks before Coletivo Vibra's debut soiree, Brazil went into lockdown  on account of the worldwide pandemic of COVID-19.  Vibra had to adapt to the new times, reformulating its proposals and continuing with its debut and productions online . During 2020, Coletivo Vibra produced around 10 projects of different natures, including services provided to artists and their own projects. In early 2021, the producers decided to take a break to explore their own paths, and then relaunch Vibra even stronger later on.

In 2023, Caro Petersen, who had moved to Denmark in 2021, decided to start Vibra again, this time as Vibra Kultur, aiming to promote Brazilian art and culture in Denmark.
